Genetic Diversity of Chinese Maize Inbred Lines Using SSR Markers ∙ 187
Objective:
The objective of the study was to understand the genetic diversity, population structure, and marker-trait associations for eight agronomic traits and 50 Simple Sequence Repeats (SSRs) markers in 68 Chinese maize inbred lines. The ultimate goal was to provide results that help in optimizing the choice of inbred lines for cross combinations and selecting markers for future maize breeding programs.
